Bátor Tábor – 15 years of the camp

The Bator Tabor Foundation Poland organizes free of charge therapeutic recreation camps for youth, whose childhood has been disturbed by illness. Under the discreet, yet constant medical care they can ride horses, practice archery, climb a rope course, take part in workshops, which – due to their health – they wouldn’t be able to attend anywhere else. The Bator Tabor Ccamp in Hungary annually hosts around 70 children from 9 oncological wards in Poland – alland for free. In January 2016, the Foundation launched the GO! Program. Within its framework, we organize workshops for children suffering from cancer in the oncological wards of two Warsaw-based hospitals – the Children’s Memorial Health Institute and the Institute of Mother and Child. Thanks to the the aforementioned project, we can reach a larger number of beneficiaries and, more importantly, maintain a regular contact with them.
